Motorola kicked off 2022 earlier this month with the release of the Moto G Stylus. It is now preparing to release another smartphone, a rebranded version of the Edge X30, which debuted in China in December.

Previous rumours suggested that the Edge Pro 30 would have an in-display fingerprint sensor, as opposed to the Edge X30's side-mounted scanner.

The rear design is also said to be unique, with Moto's logo moving from the centre to the bottom left. However, WinFuture believes that the Moto Edge 30 Pro will be visually and functionally identical to the Edge X30.

The Moto Edge 30 Pro, according to the report, is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset — Qualcomm's top-of-the-line SoC that powers phones like the super-premium Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The phone's front panel features a flat, 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 1080p resolution and a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz, as well as a cutout for a 60MP hole-punch camera.

The phone is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery and support for Motorola's 68W TurboPower fast charging.
